I love discovering new beauty brands especially black owned beauty brands. I personally feel like some black beauty brands fly under the radar and are definitely some that should be getting more attention than what they are receiving. These brands are great for everyone. And have also been created with that aspect in mind. In an oversaturated beauty market, for me it’s great to know there are brands that keep my skin type in consideration in the forefront rather than an afterthought and provide products that work fully for me. I love how Walmart created a platform to make discovering these brands an ease. With the Black Beauty site experience, you’re able to learn more about the brands, products, but even the story of the founders. If you’re unfamiliar with any black beauty brands, see below a few of my favorites that are available at Walmart.com.
3 Black Beauty Brands You Need To Know
The Lip Bar founded by Melissa Butler is black-owned, female-led, inclusive, vegan and cruelty free brand that is top of my list. Mielle Organics also founded by a black woman, Monique Rodriguez, is a great haircare brand that I love. Being natural, this brand has been a staple in my transition and keeping my hair healthy and strong. EDEN BodyWorks founded by Jasmine Lawrence is a haircare and skincare brand that is also another one I love. I’m a big fan of their skincare products like this shea body lotion.Vegan Lip Gloss with Argan Oil
Pomegranate & Honey Leave In Conditioner
Coconut Shea Body Lotion
