Between the Amicalola Falls in the Northeast Mountains to the Okefenokee Swamp in the south, there’s something Georgia natural wonders.
You’ll be amazed at the beautiful and natural landscapes that Georgia has to offer. A lot of times people believe you have to travel far and wide to experience something great and that’s not the case. Especially, if you have someone like me in your corner to give you ideas of places to travel to.
We try to expose ourselves to different cultures, areas, and people. But, there are still so many hidden gems in Georgia we have to explore.
Some of the places and things we have on our family’s bucket list are:

Georgia Natural Wonders
1. Tallulah Gorge
If you’re looking to get your heart pumping (both from the 1K+ steps and amazing views), Tallulah Gorge is it. This is always at the tops of my Georgia natural wonders list for so many reasons.
During the warmer months, you can cool off at the natural sliding rock and swimming hole at the gorge floor.
I love to go during the fall when we can see the leaves change colors.
2. Providence Canyon
Did you know the “Little Grand Canyon” is right here in Georgia? It’s amazing how close it resembles the western canyons.
The canyon was formed due to poor farming practices, but we must admit the view is worth it. There’s such a colorful history and geology of South Georgia. On the 7-mile trail, you can backpack and explore the canyon inside and out.
3. Radium Springs
Who needs to back a bag and hop on a plane to Wyoming to visit the Hot Springs State Park? Not you!
You can get the turquoise glow and surreal scenery right here. Georgia’s largest natural spring pumps thousands of gallons of water from an underground cave.
Radium Springs Gardens is one of Georgia’s most unique attractions. It is preserved with stone pathways and lush botanical gardens.
If you’re looking for a more relaxing getaway you can enjoy a shaded walk, gazing at the crystal clear pools. And if you’re up for adventure try paddling the Flint River to search for other blue holes.
