STAY: HOTEL VANDIVORT

I received an amazing email a few weeks ago to visit Springfield, Missouri with a group of bloggers from around the United States. When I opened the email, I thought this was amazing to one be invited as a blogger for this opportunity and also to visit somewhere I’ve never been. We had full day agendas all three days we were in town with activities such as cave tours, an art class, and even trying a variety of restaurants that were ah-mazing! (You’ll hear more about that later). On this super fun trip, I had the chance to gain new friends and reconnect with old friends – Stephanie, Chelsea, Cathy, and Stefanie. But before we get into the details of the trip, I want to introduce you to the beautiful boutique hotel we stayed in for our visit, Hotel Vandivort.

The historic structure of Hotel Vandivort was originally built in 1906 as a Masonic Temple. Fast forward 110 years later and you have the beautiful and modern Hotel Vandivort. During our stay we were in the Modest King Room. Modern and efficient, the Modest King Room includes a king bed with luxury bedding and free high speed WiFi. Other features include a wet or dry bar, comfortable lounge seating and ceiling heights from 11 to 21 feet.

Hotel Vandivort features: 50 rooms—including 12 suites and 2 premiere suites—designed to meet the needs of both out-of-town guests and locals looking for a “staycation” or a space to entertain, refrigerator, honors bar, coffee maker, and snack assortment featuring local products, 27 rooms with kitchenettes including refrigerator, microwave, wet bar sink, and glassware, 50″ flat screen TVs with HD channels, Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel (LIFESAVER),  Pet friendly accommodations and a Fully equipped on-site fitness center plus SO much more!!

Besides the beautiful design of the hotel and the super comfy beds, I think I fell in love with the lower level bathroom’s mirror. It’s basically a ring light in a mirror! The mirror is so fab and popular might I add that its location has its own hashtag – #hotelvandivortselfies. Here you’ll find photos of everyone who has visited this bathroom and took advantage of the amazing light for a selfie. Click the link you might see some familiar faces. 🙂
