Most days, you can find me in jeans, a tee, and sneakers or a workout fit depending on how I started my day. When I have days where I am dressing up in workwear, I always have a few of my favorite pieces I pull from for workwear. I love the option of being super dressy on some days with a jumpsuit like I’m wearing above or a suit and casual on others and I have my go-to stores for finding either style option. It’s so easy to overspend on work clothing when you’re just starting out and not sure who has the better deals. When I entered the workforce, I thought I needed every black blazer I came across until it became evident that they all looked alike and I spent a ridiculous amount on blazers versus statement pieces I could wear over again.
It’s always best to create a realistic shopping budget for workwear and start from there on what stores can fit your budget. You don’t want to blow your entire budget on one pair of slacks, and you only have your cute tees that say TGIF to pair with them. Yea that’s cute on Friday, and if your job is casual but every day, I think not. If you’re in the market for affordable but stylish workwear looks, here are my favorite places to buy affordable workwear.
I love ASOS because they have options for everyone. When I was pregnant, I couldn’t find any stylish and cute maternity work clothing and when I came across ASOS they saved the day. They include everyone when it comes to their market. They have petite, tall, maternity, plus and men.
Target can be a one-stop shop for the entire family. Budget-friendly and cute options. I personally shop at Target all year long and love their casual workwear.
H&M is usually my number one stop when it comes to my workwear. Reasonable and stylish and perfect for every season. Some stores have better summer attire than fall but H&M is good all year long. I also recently started shopping their children’s line for my little one and I can’t wait to share his fall threads. They also carry maternity which was a lifesaver when it came to my pants during my pregnancy.
For all your business casual needs, Loft has you covered. They also have maternity, plus, and petite sizing and sales pretty occasionally.
Would love to see how you style your workwear pieces. Who are your favorite brands to shop workwear from?
